We have updated our Holy Week and Easter Sunday worship resources. If you have not had an opportunity to see those resources yet, we encourage you to visit the page and see what is available.
For Good Friday and the Easter Vigil: Audio resources and Spanish translations (PDF files), are now available. The audio can be played back directly from the website or downloaded for offline use; the Spanish language PDFs are available for download.
For Easter Sunday: The Easter Sunday worship service will be broadcast at 9 and 11 am at live.nccumc.org. The service will include a sermon by Bishop Ward, music, and liturgy.
We have worked to provide an option for folks with no or less-than-reliable internet access to be able to call in and listen to the Easter worship service. There are two numbers available:
- 919-629-0797 – We encourage you to use and share this number.
- 888-514-8430 – A toll-free number to use If long-distance service is not available.
Finally, here are answers to some frequently asked questions about the Easter service. Let us know if you have any other questions by emailing communications@nccumc.org.
Will the Easter service be available before Sunday?
We are not planning to distribute the video beforehand. Our hope is that everyone in the conference would join this service at one of the times available. If you have members without internet or less-than-reliable internet, please offer them the call-in option.
Will the video be available on-demand for those who cannot watch at 9 or 11 am?
The video will be available on our Vimeo channel after the scheduled service times on Easter.
How can I give to my local church on Easter?
Please share our Local Church Giving page – this is available to any church in the North Carolina Conference.
