Summary: Exposure to pornography is rampant among our youth. The general public remains unaware of the highly addictive nature of pornography and its damaging effects on individuals, relationships, and society. Research also provides a direct link between pornography and human trafficking.
The unfortunate reality of pornography production is that, often, the production of pornography is neither harmless nor consensual. Rather, pornography plays a unique role in fueling the human trafficking industry by both contributing to the demand for more traditional forms of sex trafficking and creating another route to profit for traffickers who enslave victims for the production of pornographic media. – Northwestern Law Review Journal, Vol 111.
The youth session begins with worship. The adult session begins with an introduction to the “Human Trafficking Awareness Week.” This will include exploring the international implications of pornography and human trafficking by International Justice Mission (IJM).
