Written for 2020, Triptych is a daily guide through Advent and Epiphany (November 29th through January 6th). Borrowing the name of an art piece of three hinged panels, called a Triptych, each day offers a Triptych of scripture, reflection, and prayer.
Using selections from the daily readings of the Revised Common Lectionary (Year B), this book offers a view through the “lens” of three foundational scriptures, Isaiah 58:1-14, Luke 1:46-55, and Luke 4:16-21, focusing on the prophet Isaiah, mother-to-be Mary, and Jesus’ proclamation in Nazareth.
Triptych is authored by Andy Morris and the NC Conference’s own Rev. Steve Hickle who serves as President of WesleyMen, an affiliate organization of the World Methodist Council.
