New Lenten Resources
The newest Lenten DVD studies recommended for use in United Methodist churches are:
Made for a Miracle: From Your Ordinary to God’s Extraordinary by Rev. Michael Slaughter
What Makes a Hero? The Death-Defying Ministry of Jesus by Rev. Matt Rawle
Both of these studies offer youth versions, and What Makes a Hero? offers a children’s version. The Media Center will order additional copies of these studies as they are requested, so get your requests in early! Many other study options are listed in the pathfinders above.
Another new option for youth is The Passion volume of the new Fathom: A Deep Dive Into the Study of God series that is a book-based study with a leader’s guide and student journal. This series is published by Youth Ministry Partners, a division of the United Methodist publisher, Abingdon Press. Additional copies of this study can be ordered as well.
