Did you know that the NC Conference Media Center is running a contest in October where you can submit your review in our online catalog and be entered to win a $25 Cokesbury gift card? One entry per review! See our contest announcement for details on how to enter.
NetGalley
NetGalley offers free ebooks in exchange for your opinion. You must create an account and build a profile that explains how you share reviews online. Think Amazon, Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, your blog, or even the NC Conference Media Center’s online catalog. You can designate Christian as your reading preference. After you are signed-up, you can browse the available titles by category and request what you would like to review. If the publisher approves your request, then you can download the ebook to your device. Log back in after reading to submit your review and request more free ebooks!
BookLook Bloggers
This program is owned by HarperCollins Christian Publishing and offers all Christian books, but the approval process is stricter and requires participants to have an actual blog that is currently updated. Once approved, you must review your book within 90 days and then request another one to keep your account active. Currently, they are not accepting new applicants, but keep checking back because they have some popular titles to offer.
Blogging for Books
This website is owned by Random House publishing, but it does offer a good selection of popular Christian resources. Blogging for Books requires that you actually have a blog, but if you are a retailer, librarian, or professional media outlet, you can qualify without a blog. This site offers print and digital resources for review.
GoRead
GoRead is a social networking community for readers. Members can earn LitCoins for doing various activities on the site that help build the community such as writing reviews, following authors, sharing links, and adding books to your profile. You can then redeem your LitCoins for books in the GoRead Book Store.
My Reader Rewards Club
This program is owned by Tyndale House Publishers, a major Christian publisher. Sign up for a free account and start earning points that you can redeem for a selection of their available products. Earn points by signing up for newsletters, taking surveys, and writing reviews of products from Tyndale and NavPress.
