Many of us feel the divisiveness of our time. We long to talk about issues and topics that are important to us with people- especially family members and friends- who may see things differently, but we\u2019re afraid that doing so will break connection and create irreparable discord. How do we move from \u201cus\u201d and \u201cthem\u201d to a sense of shared vision? This 2-hour online workshop introduces a framework for finding connection in challenging conversations, tailored for difficult conversations in the workplace, at home, and in daily life. Learn to identify, honor, and express yourself with clarity, honesty, and integrity. Using these strategies opens possibilities for win-win outcomes. \u2013 Learn to honor your experience and express yourself with clarity, honesty, and integrity. \u2013 Learn to listen for the deeper meaning beneath others\u2019 experiences. \u2013 Using these strategies opens possibilities for win-win collaborations. The workshop includes: \u2013 Key concepts of Compassionate Communication \u2013 A step-by-step written practice \u2013 Modeling of the practices \u2013 Skills and resources to use immediately Recording of the webinar is provided to all who register. About the facilitator: Cory Lockhart is a teacher, artist, public speaker, and founder of Hart Communication, LLC in Louisville, KY.
