This change was approved at the 2024 General Conference. It applies to churches and clergy in the U.S. and reflects the realities of what the denomination and annual conferences have been through in recent years. It also continues our United Methodist tradition of caring for the financial well-being of our clergy during their ministry and especially in their retirement years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ken Sloane, Director of Stewardship and Generosity at Discipleship Ministries, will welcome two friends and colleagues from Wespath Benefits &amp; Investments: Bob Christophel and Tony Prestipino, who will walk us through what is changing, what is not changing, and why making changes was important to the church and our ministry.
