This biblically-based, no-nonsense resource will enable you to help people count their blessings and give to God out of gratitude. The study includes discussion questions, samples, and a step-by-step outline for conducting a Gratitude Campaign in a church of any size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Generosity Rising: Lead a Stewardship Revolution in Your Church<\/em><\/strong> by Scott McKenzie. In this book<\/a>, you\u2019ll get practical guidelines for training a dedicated team of \u201cgenerosity revolutionaries\u201d who embrace, live, and lead others on a journey of gratitude, prayer, and faith. It includes a yearlong plan and daily devotionals to inspire, motivate, and encourage leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These small-group and individual resources can also be adapted into a stewardship campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Saving Grace: A Guide to Financial Well-Being<\/em><\/strong> from Wespath and Abingdon Press. This program provides the text and tools you need to address the topics of saving, earning, giving, spending, and debt, along with helpful strategies for achieving a sustainable financial life. This six-part study is based on Wesleyan values and helps you reach personal financial goals as well as address life concerns. The study components include a Leader Guide<\/a> containing session plans, outlines, discussion questions; a Clergy Workbook<\/a> addressing financial issues unique to pastors; a DVD<\/a> containing six sessions for the participant study, three sessions to complement the Clergy Workbook, plus interviews with financial experts; a Participant Workbook<\/a>; and a 40-day devotional<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Generosity Challenge: 28 Days of Gratitude, Prayer, and Faith<\/em><\/strong> by Scott McKenzie and Kristine Miller. Morrison, Ph.D. with Dalene Bickel. This easy-to-follow money management guide helps young adults understand where they currently stand financially and lays the groundwork to help them achieve their future financial and lifestyle goals. From discussions of income, expenses and savings to budgeting, cash flow and net worth, this book<\/a> simplifies critical financial concepts without diluting the content. The author is a retired corporate executive, a business professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and a member of Wrightsville UMC in Wrightsville Beach, NC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These studies include materials adapted for adults, youth, and children so that all family members can participate in the same program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Earn. Save. Give. Wesley’s Simple Rules for Money<\/strong><\/em> by James A. Harnish. John Wesley believed money was important as a way of expressing and living out Christian faith. To Wesley, the task was simple: earn all you can, save all you can, give all you can. Rev. Harnish presents Wesley\u2019s concepts and beliefs in plain, useful language, suitable for individuals to grapple with and groups to discuss and act upon.
