$ Come to the Table Conference (RAFI-USA)

The Come to the Table Conference is hosted by the Come to the Table Program of the Rural Advancement Foundation International (RAFI-USA). Under the leadership direction of Executive Director Edna Rodriguez, RAFI-USA challenges the root causes of unjust food systems, supporting and advocating for economically, racially, and ecologically just farm communities. The mission of the Come to the Table program is to end hunger by developing connections to create a just food system where food is a human right and those who work in the system have ownership and are treated with dignity. We believe that faith communities have a key role to play in this work.

Since 2007, Come to the Table has been holding biennial conferences to convene persons of faith, farmers, and community leaders to come together around issues of food access in their communities. Previous conference themes have included Called to Action: Uprooting Hunger and Cultivating Justice (2019), Bridging Divides: Cultivating Food & Faith Connections (2017), and Head, Heart, Hands (2015).
