Our congregations need this kind of leadership now, more than ever.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop will teach you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What\u2019s behind the anxiety in our congregations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How a non-anxious presence can help congregations get unstuck.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How you can be a non-anxious presence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the book of the same name, our time together will make the connection between one\u2019s family of origin and congregational dynamics. He is an ordained UMC minister and has served as pastor of churches in Port Deposit, MD and Chesapeake City, MD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jack is the author of four books:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Anxious Church, Anxious People: How to Lead Change in an Age of Anxiety<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>One New Habit, One Big Goal: Change Your Life in 10 Weeks.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>If You Met My Family You\u2019d Understand: A Family Systems Primer<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Everyone Loves a Non-Anxious Presence: Calm Down, Grow Up, and Live Your Best Life<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>His website is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenonanxiousleader.com\">www.thenonanxiousleader.com<\/a>. His podcast, <em>The Non-Anxious Leader podcast<\/em> is available on all platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jack and his wife of 42 years, Jodi, have four children and five grandchildren. Jack is an avid runner and has completed the Baltimore Marathon three times. He plays guitar and bass in the Jacob\u2019s Well Band, his church\u2019s worship band.
