When navigated in healthy, faith-filled ways,&nbsp;conflict can result in growth and refinement rather than inertia and destruction. In Matthew 18:15-20, Jesus gives step by step instructions on how his followers can engage conflict faithfully. Molly L. Shivers is an Elder in Full Connection in the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. She holds a B.A. summa cum laude in Fine Arts from Vanderbilt University, a M.A. in the History of Art from the University of North Carolina, and a M.Div. from Duke Divinity School. She has served as an associate pastor in an 800 member church and pastor-in-charge of an 80 member church. She transitioned in to extension ministry when she was appointed as the Director of the Church Transformation Team in the (late) Burlington District. Rev.
