You can pick and choose to attend the interactive workshops&nbsp;that meet your needs and interests. She is an ordained elder in the UMC, who before Cedar Grove served in Murfreesboro, NC, for six years. She is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and the Boston\u00a0University School of Theology. She loves worship planning and preaching, as well as strategic planning, youth and children&#8217;s ministry, and missions. She\u2019s also trained as a Spiritual Director and loves to talk about spiritual practices and self-care. Monica is married to Chris Beacham and together they have a cat and a barely-behaved beagle.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"220\" height=\"220\" src=\"https:\/\/nccumc.org\/leadership\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2019\/12\/Carl-Frazier-e1576687028440.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3115\" style=\"width:325px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nccumc.org\/leadership\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2019\/12\/Carl-Frazier-e1576687028440.jpg 220w, https:\/\/nccumc.org\/leadership\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2019\/12\/Carl-Frazier-e1576687028440-75x75.jpg 75w, https:\/\/nccumc.org\/leadership\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2019\/12\/Carl-Frazier-e1576687028440-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 220px) 100vw, 220px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Carl&nbsp;Frazier<\/strong>&nbsp;is a retired elder in The United Methodist Church.&nbsp; For 43 years, he has pastored churches of all sizes in the&nbsp;NC Conference from&nbsp;some of the smallest in membership to one of the largest. In addition to his parish work,&nbsp;Carl&nbsp;has served on several Annual and General Conference boards and agencies, as a delegate to three General and four Jurisdictional Conferences, and as a District Superintendent.&nbsp;He has degrees&nbsp;from Barton College (B.A., 1980), Duke University (M.Div., 1984), and Princeton Theological Seminary (D.Min., 2003).&nbsp;As a local church pastor,&nbsp;Carl\u2019s passions were preaching, teaching, vision casting with a congregation, and leadership development in the context of congregational life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-a89b3969 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a
