Join the Cultivating Leaders: A Year-Long Nominations Pathway<\/em> training, led by Trish Archer<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cultivating leaders is a continual process in local church ministry. It\u2019s going beyond the charge conference lay leadership\/nominations report to discernment and equipping leaders throughout the year. During our time together, we will consider tools for assessing gifts and strengths of laity and helping folks to serve in the place that God has uniquely gifted them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will talk about practices for developing, equipping and enabling leaders. How might we mentor new leaders and create opportunities for healthy succession of leaders? How might we reflect upon our current practices for equipping leaders? Each local church is unique in its context, people, gifts and strengths. How might we build upon all that God has given each church to serve faithfully and grow in our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you are starting a new leadership role or have been serving in church leadership for years, this training will prepare you for your much-needed ministry. You may register for any of the six virtual workshops designed to equip you to serve in your local church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How It Works<\/strong>
We will host six Zoom meetings, and registrants can choose the topics that they need. If you cannot make it during the scheduled time, no worries, we will send the recordings for all <\/em>the sessions in early February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who Can Register?<\/strong>
Anyone! We send invitations to the chair of each committee and church lay leaders. However, we recommend that all committee members attend the training to receive the same information. If you are interested in learning about the roles and responsibilities of other committees, feel free to sign up!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
