Part of our work is advocating for responsible gun ownership to help decrease gun violence in our communities. The video showcases a recent advocacy event where we worked with partner non-profits to urge North Carolina legislators to maintain existing common-sense gun laws. This work aligns with our United Methodist Social Principles and is addressed in the 2024 UMC Book of Resolutions, “Our Call to End Gun Violence” #3212.
