Anxious to Talk About It: Helping White Christians Talk Faithfully About Racism
with Carolyn Helsel
Wednesday, Feb 13
12PM, EST
About the Webinar
In this webinar, Helsel takes a storytelling approach to describe the challenges and gifts that come from hearing and telling stories about racism. Part of the struggle involves remaining compassionate towards ourselves through the journey, and strengthening our “emotional muscles” to better bear one another’s burdens. Drawing from language of spiritual practices, Helsel deepens our capacity for tough conversations and points to how to have these conversations with others.
