Resilience: Bouncing Back in Troubled Times

April 29, 2020 Leave a Comment

The Center for Leadership Excellence invites you to a webinar with Alix Felsing…

Resilience? What resilience? The global COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted our usual routines. We’re working at home, juggling kids and their schoolwork, keeping a worried eye on elderly parents, and watching the economy collapse. No wonder we’re tired All. The. Time. In this discussion about resilience, Alix Felsing will talk about how you can build and restore some equilibrium in uncertain times.

Additional Opportunity for NC Conference Pastors… Journaling: Writing to Thrive

This four-week course focuses on ways journaling can help you build and sustain resilience. Led by Alix Felsing and offered by the Davidson Centre for the Professions, it provides a small-group, interactive follow-up to the webinar Resilience: Bouncing Back in Troubled Times.

The course meets for an hour each week using Zoom for our interactive discussions.
•    2-3 p.m. Tuesdays – May 19 and 26, June 2 and 9
•    10-11 a.m. Wednesdays – May 20 and 27, June 3 and 10
•    7-8 p.m. Wednesdays – May 20 and 27, June 3 and 10

More information about the journaling workshops will be shared during the webinar. This opportunity is available at no cost to the participant for a small number of eligible members of the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. Pastors from other conferences should contact the Davidson Centre directly about whether there are additional opportunities to participate.
