Want to understand your ministry team, spouse, or co-workers better? Good relationships are important to all of us. Yet there are times we don’t see things the same way with the people in our life. It’s like we see our world from a different lens. The Enneagram is an effective tool for transforming our relationships with ourselves and others.
To get the most out of this session, sign up as a team and attend together!
What is the Enneagram? The Enneagram (any-a-gram) is a personality system that provides insight into the nine strategies people use to cope with the many demands of life. This workshop is taught from a Christian perspective and in the Narrative Tradition, through which panels comprised of each Enneagram type share their experiences. This powerful format explains the gifts and struggles of each personality type and provides participants with new skills for understanding the people in their life.
Prepare before you come! We strongly encourage you to do some exploring to determine your Enneagram Type in advance. Visit The Enneagram Institute webpage, where you can take the Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator (RHETI® version 2.5). There is a $12 charge for this test, which consists of 144 questions and should take around 40 minutes to complete. Alternatively, there are descriptions of each type available on the website, and you could read about each type and self-identify which one fits you. In addition, you can sign up for Enneathought, a free daily email that gives you a reflection to consider to help you determine your personality type. You can select up to two types to help figure out which one fits you best.
About the Speaker: Anissa Ferris, MSW, LCSW is a Certified Teacher of the Enneagram and has worked as a psychotherapist for over 20 years in Raleigh. She has found the Enneagram to be a great tool for helping others discover their particular path of growth.
