Across our conference, certified lay servants, speakers, and ministers are leading worship, organizing community ministries, teaching, preaching, serving neighbors, and discovering new ways God is calling them to lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We asked these laity to share how they got started and what advice they have for others exploring what God may be calling them toward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA pastor asked me a simple question: \u2018Are you willing to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ?\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have met a lot of wonderful people through this program. You don\u2019t have to be afraid to step beyond your own church. God will help you do what God calls you to do, and God will give you people to walk alongside you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wish I had done this earlier in my life. But I tell anyone who will listen \u2014 it is never too late.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
