The recommendation of the pastor and church council or charge conference where a person holds membership is an essential part of discerning and affirming that call. Thank you for your partnership in this process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who receives this recommendation? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your recommendation will be shared with the district Lay Servant Ministries director and committee, as well as conference staff. For certified lay ministers, recommendations are also shared with the district committee on ordained ministry prior to their interview.
