These courses will be available online through the conference Online Learning Ministry. Please note enrollment dates; registration is not available for a course prior to those opening dates. To register, just follow the link. If you have not taken an online course with the North Carolina Conference, you will need to register on the site – this is free. Justice in Everyday Life – 4 weeks beginning in September. This course will examine Our Social Principles and how they are impacted by our theology and compel our response in action as disciples. Enrollment opens August 16.
Spiritual Gifts – 2 weeks beginning September 12. The course helps participants understand spiritual gifts and how the church can use them to fulfill its mission and ministry. Participants will also learn what it means to be a spiritual leader and be equipped to lead others in exploring and using their spiritual gifts. Enrollment opens August 24.
Daily Disciplines – 6 weeks beginning in October. This course is structured around Wesley’s “Means of Grace” and guides participants in discerning God’s direction for their lives, practicing daily disciplines, and reaching out in love. Participants will work within small online groups for accountability in their practice. Enrollment opens September 14.
The courses are open to everyone; course fee is $25. Those seeking credentialing as a Certified Lay Servant or a Certified Lay Speaker will receive credit for course completion.
