Note to clergy moving this month
The Conference Benefits Team and the Conference Secretary’s Office remind all clergy persons changing appointments this month that it is each individual participant’s responsibility to update their mailing address and contact information for the following entities:
* Conference Health Plan – update your address with Blue Cross Blue Shield at http://www.ebenefitsnow.com/. Log in using your user ID and password established at Open Enrollment.
* General Board of Pension and Health Benefits – contact the customer service department at 1-800-851-2201 or log into your OASIS account.
* Amazing Pace Walking Program – log into http://www.ncc.amazingpace.com/ and click on the “Update Your Account” page. Remember to update your District Team as well as update your contact info.
* Online Data Collection System – update your personal information. You may also call Shannon Medlin in the Conference Secretary’s office at 800-849-4433, ext. 222. This is how the conference compiles data for the conference address directory.

Registration deadline for ACS for youth
The registration for high school students to attend ACS (Annual Conference Session for Youth) is June 27. ACS will be held July 18-23 at Methodist University in Fayetteville. High school students who have completed grades 9-12 are eligible to attend. The total cost is $250. ACS is very important as district and conference leadership positions are elected/selected at that time. As with Annual Conference for pastors and laity – each church is expected to send at least one youth representative from their church to ACS. The registration form can be found in the 2011 Youth Events Brochure which is available for download on the website at www.nccumc.org/youth.

Campus ministers want to meet UM college students
Pastors are asked to submit names and contact information of 2011 high school graduates, as well as the student’s intended college or university for enrollment in the fall. This mid-year entry into the Online Data Collection System is crucial to campus ministers at our public universities and community colleges. College admissions offices do not provide students’ names to campus ministers and students are not required to indicate religious preference when they enroll. Pastors, please help make the connection for students and a campus ministry at their school of choice.
