The Inaugural NC/SC Black Clergy Leadership Retreat will be held May 20-23, Kingston Plantation Resort, Myrtle Beach, SC. The retreat is designed to foster unified, communal relationships among African American clergy serving in NC & SC Annual Conferences.
Clergy will share in corporate worship and spiritual formation. Participants will take part in holy conversation with Bishops Hope Morgan Ward and Jonathan Holston about leadership in the annual conferences and the black church in particular. Information about “best practices” in self-care and other spiritual disciplines will be offered along with the opportunities to share in mission both local and global.
Online registration is now open. The cost of registration is $200.00 per person. This fee includes registration, hotel lodging, and communal meals. For more information and to register go to the South Carolina Conference UMC website.
