The North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church is holding its first newly appointed clergywoman workshop for pastors and church leaders beginning their first year of a pastoral appointment. The office of Racial Equity & Justice Ministries and Commission on the Status and Role of Women invites you and your leaders to participate in this wonderful opportunity.
We encourage our female pastors that have been previously serving and have been newly appointed to participate so that their experience can help to nurture and bring wisdom to the conversation. And for the first time, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the workshop will transpire online via the increasingly popular Zoom videoconferencing venue.
There are several characteristics that we expect to build as we strengthen your ministry and ministry team relationships. Such as:
- Trust
- Mutual Respect
- Mindfulness
- Welcoming Diversity
- Open Communication
Also the office of Racial Equity & Justice Ministries will provide 12 individual coaching sessions for you. You don’t want to miss out on this great opportunity.
Dates:
- Clergywomen: November 7, 9:30am-3pm
- Clergy only: November 18, 10am-12pm
