As Youth Ministry Intern, individual will execute large group and support consistency in the corresponding small group lesson Sunday mornings and Sunday nights based on chosen curriculum, Methodist teachings and their audience.
Highlights:
Stipend position, $1,000 per semester, including all Sunday mornings & Sunday nights
Work closely with Director of Youth Ministry & Youth Coordinators in supporting all ministry activities for youth.
The Youth Ministry Intern will report to and be evaluated by the Director of Youth Ministry
Expectations:
The Youth Ministry Intern (YMI) will support the Youth Ministry of FUMCC leading Sunday morning formation groups and as a support of Sunday evening UMYF. The YMI will serve at Pilgrimage, Kick Off, and Mid Year Kick Off as a chaperone. The YMI will be a team player by pitching in to lend a hand with any church function as needed, fostering a loving Christian environment. The YMI will act as a positive role model for children at all times.

Communicates Biblical truths and lessons at developmentally appropriate levels with animation and enthusiasm.
Exemplifies a personal relationship with Jesus and foundation within the Christian faith.
On a Sunday morning teaching team.
Supports UMYF program every Sunday unless otherwise agreed upon with Director of Youth Ministry.
Builds creative environments for youth using storytelling, creative building and a high tech mix of production skills used to tell the story of God to children and families.
Brings in new ideas through programming, brainstorming, storytelling, and creative building.
