Candidates must demonstrate:
*Bachelor of Christian Education, or 3-5 years of comparable experience
*Strong commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and an ability to clearly articulate one’s faith
*Unwavering passion for the spiritual teaching and growth of children from birth through elementary school age and their parents
*Creativity, self-motivation and resourcefulness, with recognized ability to multi-task
*Strong organizational skills
*Good interpersonal skills, particularly with children
*Eagerness to work collaboratively with *Children’s Ministry Council and other staff members in planning and implementation
*Proven ability to recruit, organize and motivate volunteers
*Solid writing, listening and speaking communication skills
*Proficiency in the use of basic office technology, including word processing and e-mail
*Confidentiality and sensitivity in handling special issues with children and families
*Schedule flexibility to accommodate Sunday worship services, Sunday evening events, as well as events at varying times throughout the week
*Salary is negotiable, based on experience.
