Mission Coordinator

Boone United Methodist Church is searching for a part-time mission coordinator. This person will lead our efforts in local and international missions, guided by one of our core values, “Everyone everywhere matters.” Responsibilities include planning an annual mission celebration, guiding the funding priorities and energies of our mission committee, planning weekly mission moments in worship, and handling the pastor’s benevolence fund. More importantly, this person will help clarify to our 1500 members, the next step they might take as a disciple in serving God. We are looking for someone with excellent motivational and communications skills who is self-motivated and able to work regular evening or weekend hours.
