Lead Nursery Attendant

We are in immediate need of a Lead Nursery Attendant. The candidate must:
● be experienced meeting the basic needs of infants and toddlers, including diapering and feeding, maintaining a clean environment, and monitoring children’s play for safety concerns.
● be able to engage children in order to create a fun and loving environment.
● have the flexibility to provide one-on-one care as well as helping with multiple children.
● have the maturity, confidence and poise to interact positively with parents and caregivers, to follow their care instructions, and to discuss questions and concerns of care if needed.
● be dependable, trustworthy, and punctual.
● be able to work cooperatively on a team that includes parents and other volunteers.
● upon being offered the position, pass a criminal background check and complete Safe Sanctuary training.
Experience working in a church setting is desirable but not required. Approximately 3 hours each Sunday morning plus occasional evening services. Preference is for someone able and willing to commit to a long-term appointment. $15/hour.
