The Indiana Conference of The United Methodist Church seeks a tithing disciple of Jesus Christ with demonstrated capacity and experience in the development and implementation of processes for excellence in ethical, transparent, efficient, and effective management of all aspects of human, financial, and material resources of large, complex, and diverse organizations.
The successful candidate will understand the inter-relatedness of the various aspects of Conference programming and administration, will appreciate the contributions of others, will cultivate collaboration and teamwork, and will participate in a mutual spiritual covenant with other individuals with whom this collective responsibility for the vision, mission, and ministry of the Conference is shared.
Further, the successful candidate will have the ability to identify, develop, and enhance the leadership potential of others. The selected candidate will have a high capacity for dealing with complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities, and be skillful and comfortable in articulating and reporting the fulfillment of the responsibilities of the position to audiences large and small, within the Conference and to the general public.
Applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent (CPA credential earned or in process a plus), coupled with pertinent experience that generally could not be accumulated in less than five years.
