On Saturday, Feb. 13, over 100 youth and their leaders gathered at Saulston UMC in Goldsboro for the GPS (God People Service) Youth Summit. This year’s Summit was focused on the theme of Annual Conference 2016 – Give.

The youth participated in making blanket bundles, which consisted of a blanket packed with hygiene kits, non-perishable food bags, and black socks. They then headed out to Goldsboro to pass out over 100 bundles to the homeless and needy of the city.

While they were handing out the bundles, they invited the folks that they ministered to back to Saulston UMC for a pizza lunch and to worship. Over 25 recipients joined the youth for lunch, worship, and feasting at the Communion Table.
It was an amazing day for the youth to take the Gospel out into the streets and share with persons who may not have otherwise experienced the love of God.
How can you can give today to help build God’s Kingdom?
