Whitaker’s Chapel Celebrates 275 Years!

June 14, 2015 marks the 275th Anniversary of Whitaker’s Chapel! Francis Asbury preached at Whitaker’s Chapel at least three times. Whitaker’s Chapel, located five miles east of Enfield at 5356 Thirteen Bridges Rd., is a national historic site and a historic shrine of the United Methodist Church. The Historic Committee is planning the annual Homecoming Service for June 14th. The Reverend Dr. Vernon Tyson will be our guest minister. A covered dish luncheon will follow the service.
