Come be inspired by guest speaker Bob Goff on Sunday, November 15 as he challenges us around our 2015 NC Conference SERVE theme. “I used to be afraid of failing at something that really mattered to me, but now I’m more afraid of succeeding at things that don’t matter,” he says. The best-selling author of LOVE DOES, Bob is a down-to-earth speaker who encourages everyone to get to the “do” part of life. Choosing to live audaciously, Bob donates profits from Love Does to Restore International, a human rights nonprofit he founded, and to The Mentoring Project. The free event is November 15 at Saint Francis UMC, Cary. A love offering supports Imagine No Malaria. Seating for 800 is available on a first-come basis – please carpool. Doors open at 2pm with a book signing starting at 2:15pm, Bob’s presentation at 3pm, and book signing until 4:30pm.
The event is sponsored by Capital, Fairway, and Corridor districts.
