The United Methodist Church ministry initiative “Justice for our Neighbors” JFON, is a nation-wide agency providing low cost legal services for asylum seekers, refugees and immigrants moving through complicated and expensive legal processes.
St. Andrews UMC is considering implementing this ministry, and is in search of broad community support and involvement for this important endeavor.
You are invited to attend a briefing session outlining the services to be offered, and the resources and support needed for this permanent legal service ministry. The immigration law clinic briefing will be offered Jan. 24, 6 p.m. and again, Feb. 3, 5 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
