As Christians and clergy leaders, we stand daily at the crossroads of the way the world is, and the way the world ought to be. As the church, we are called to be a sign, instrument, and foretaste of the Kingdom of God. As baptized Christians, we vow to “resist evil, injustice, and oppression in whatever forms they present themselves.”
We strive to be faithful, and yet what that looks like in our society today, and how to effectively resist evil and be a sign, instrument, and foretaste of the Kingdom, often eludes us.
