Ahoskie UMC hosted an ecumenical Martin Luther King, Jr. Convocation for their Hertford County community on January 16 which drew an overflow crowd of 250 celebrants. The event was highlighted by music, reflections, orations, and prayers. The Rev. Bill Haddock is the pastor at the church. The Roanoke-Chowan News-Herald shares the story.
