Trinity United Methodist Church in New Bern, North Carolina is seeking a part-time youth and children’s ministry director. This position involves providing creative leadership and oversight for ministry with youth and children, with special attention to making and empowering young disciples, building laity support teams, and engaging youth/children in worship, study, and service. Applicants should have a passion for community outreach, and for building relationships with youth, children, and parents. Interested persons should have a strong commitment to Jesus Christ, an understanding and support for United Methodist theology, and a heart for the local church.
