Wakefield United Methodist Church, a new church start located in North Raleigh, is seeking a quarter-time Church Financial Coordinator. The primary task of the Church Financial Coordinator is the facilitation of the financial administration of Wakefield United Methodist Church by maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring proper accounting, distribution of funds, shaping financial procedures and providing timely reports. This person must exhibit passion for ministry, be a team player and maintain confidentiality in dealing with the congregation, staff and community contacts. The Finance Coordinator must be able to: demonstrate proficiency in financial and word processing programs including Quickbooks, Microsoft Office and the Church Membership Database software; show effective written and oral communicati ons skills; complete requested tasks in a timely and effective fashion with accuracy.
