The Project Coordinator (PC) will be a central part of Open Table Ministry, which seeks to overcome homelessness through the power of relationships. The primary task of the PC will be to support Open Table Ministry’s Street Outreach, Homelessness Prevention, and Emergency Shelter programs. The PC will work one-on-one with clients in a variety of settings, accessing emergency shelter, obtaining permanent housing, and staying housed in their current location.
The PC will be the primary coordinator leading our Homelessness Prevention project, which will require receiving referrals, working with clients to document the need for assistance, and providing the intervention necessary for the client to remain housed. The PC will be responsible for completing client intakes, gathering supporting documentation, and inputting information in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Additionally, the PC will act as the supervising manager of Open Table Ministry’s short-term emergency winter shelter, which operates from January-March. The anticipated start date for this position is October 2021.
