Organist

Status: Part-time. Hourly.
Hours: 312 hours per year (maximum of six hours per week for 50 weeks)
Services are scheduled weekly. Other events as scheduled. Individual
practice time is at organist’s discretion.
Benefits: Two Weeks Paid Annual Leave (Church Office is closed when Conference Office is closed for major holidays)
Salary: Depends on experience.
Position Summary:
Play the organ /piano for Sunday 11:00 a.m. worship services
Play the organ /piano for Revival services, Easter services, Christmas services, any other services such as funerals as listed by the Director of Music Ministries or the Pastor
Play the organ/piano for all scheduled practices and for all musical performances
Attend any required staff meeting scheduled by the Staff Parish Relations Committee or the Pastor
Attend planning meetings for the music staff set up by the Director of Music Ministries
Perform routine organ user maintenance and report to the Director of Music Ministries and Staff Parish Relations Committee on the condition of the organ and the pianos
Perform other tasks related to the music program as assigned
