Role & Responsibilities
Manage church office to be efficient & welcoming for visitors, members, staff.
At church Mon-Thurs, 9 am-1 pm to greet & direct visitors, volunteers.
Answer phone calls, emails.
Oversee “Ministry at the Door” with Minister of Outreach/Director of Open Table Ministry; i.e. distribute mail to & sign-in guests.
Core administration, including: ordering, filing, security, key fobs, church calendar, parking lot rentals, Open Table Ministry spreadsheets, memorial correspondence.
Coordinate facility use incl. weddings w/ Maintenance Supervisor, Facility Use Coordinator.
Implement clear & dynamic communication to promote Trinity & ministries.
Internal: Produce written & digital communications, incl. mailings, weekly bulletin & email newsletter.
External: Manage social media (i.e. weekly posts on Facebook & Instagram, respond to messages, develop promotion strategies), check calendar for facility use requests, create invoices for weddings, update telephone greetings.
Coordinate w/ outside vendors for printer & network systems.
Administrative support to pastor, Open Table Ministry, and other Trinity staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Conduct
Experience similar to requirements above.
Proficient desktop publishing skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, etc.)
Communication skills for work in a church, with Pastor, staff, congregation, local community (incl. confidentiality).
Ability to follow directions.
Terms of Employment & Compensation
29 hrs/wk. Compensation is $27,695 annually, paid bi-weekly. 16 days PTO/yr.
