MUMC is seeking a part-time organist and accompanist. A candidate who possesses excellent sight reading skills and is knowledgeable and comfortable with a blend of traditional and modern worship is preferred Exceptional knowledge of the pipe organ is required, as MUMC is proud to be the home of a historic pipe organ. MUMC is also seeking a part-time Director of Music. A candidate who is knowledgeable and comfortable with a blend of traditional and modern worship and serving all ages in their ministry is preferred. Our wish list includes a children’s music program. Experience with and a willingness to lead this ministry would be a strong plus.
Combining these two positions is an option for qualified applicants . MUMC holds services on Sunday mornings and there will be weekly practices for chancel choir, hand bell choir and praise team.
