Cannon United Methodist Church seeks a full-time Minister of Youth to lead our congregation in ministering effectively to students in 6th-12th grades and their families. We are a large-membership, United Methodist congregation in Snellville, Georgia. We place great emphasis on a missional partnership with our local schools. We seek someone mature in their relationship with Christ, and committed to Christian scripture and discipleship through the local church. We seek someone both called and committed to a career in Youth/Student Ministry, and able to practice and teach the theology and doctrines of the United Methodist Church. We expect a minimum of a Bachleor’s degree, and 3 years’ experience in Youth Ministry, with demonstrated successes in developing relationships with people from different generations, growing programs, equipping volunteers, communicating effectively through various mediums, and effectively organizing a medium to large size student ministry. Salary will be based on experience and education, benefits offered, and housing is a possibility. Ideal Candidates 1.
