Facilities Manager

St. Mark’s United Methodist Church is currently seeking a Part-Time Facilities
Manager. Anticipated work schedule is 15 hours per week (9:00-12:00, M-F). This
role will provide the necessary daily management of the church facilities, including
supervision of custodial staff, and be a liaison to the Trustees. This person will be
an efficient project manager of facility-related projects throughout the church. The
Facilities Manager will be a hands on member of the team but will also be
responsible for coordinating workflow for custodial staff and vendors to ensure
completion of all necessary facility-related cleaning, maintenance, and projects on
behalf of the church.
Requirements:
Facilities management experience, preferably in a church or nonprofit setting
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and establish job priorities.
Experience supervising a small staff
Ability to juggle many tasks through completion and provide direction and
oversight to others
Ability to meet and work with people and to display true Christian character.
Ability to uphold the confidentiality of all aspects of Church work.
