The Fayetteville JFON Immigration Law Clinic in central Fayetteville NC is a ministry of St Andrews UMC in Fayetteville providing low cost legal, educational and advocacy services to low income immigrants. We are seeking an experienced Executive Director (ED) responsible for managing the law clinic and its legal staff, being the primary fundraiser and administrator, plus providing strategic leadership for the organization in the southern areas of North Carolina. We need a leader with a strong passion for immigration and justice, excellent interpersonal and public relations skills, and lots of experience in public speaking and advocacy work.
The ED will market the organization and its work in several counties surrounding Fayetteville NC, and work collaboratively with other community organizations and denominations.
Managing the organization requires sound business management experience, include a sound knowledge of financial management, organizing fundraising events and programs and institutional grant writing skills.
The ED must work with the Board of Directors, and have the ability to mobilize and lead volunteers from churches and other institutions. The ED will be expected to travel occasionally to make public speeches and run training sessions throughout the eastern half of North Carolina.
