Life Around the Table (LATT) is looking for a part time (20 hours/week) creative and skilled Communications Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good working language, practice of and passion for the food and faith movement, community building, and creation care.
LATT is a small, growing non-profit ministry based in North Carolina, serving a diversity of communities across the ecumenical spectrum in NC and an increasing number of other states. LATT is an emerging leader in the food and faith movement, working at the intersection of food, spirituality, creation, and social justice.
The Communications Coordinator will work with our team to develop and implement communications strategies that amplify LATT’s work and inspire key audiences. The Communications Coordinator will develop content for LATT’s communications needs including core messaging and brand identity, promotion and marketing, relationship building and impactful storytelling. Core communications channels include our website (WordPress), social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube), and monthly e-newsletters (Constant Contact).
This position requires excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills and a knack for developing engaging content for various audiences. Strong website management and social media skills, graphic design experience, and proficiency with MS Office and the ability to work efficiently in a Google environment (Google docs, Google calendar) are also required. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and experience in video editing is preferred.
