Reporting Hierarchy: Senior Pastor / SPRC
Pay type: Regular: 30 to 37.5 hours a week
Purpose of Job: Provide administrative oversight in support of Senior Pastor including (1) planning (2) organization development (3) administrative staff management and development and (4) overall church administration
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with Senior Pastor in the leadership of the Church Staff
• Manage Church Administrative Staff
• Development, documentation and tracking of church budget
• Management of Church Information Technology resources
• Oversight of church maintenance and construction contracts in support of the Board of Trustees
• Human Resource Management
• Staff Support of Lay Leadership
• Risk Management
• Oversight of the Church Finance Office
• Organizational Planning and Special Task Forces
Skills, attributes and experience requirements
• Strong Organizational and Project Management Skills, experience in managing people
• Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
• Operations oriented with a strategic mindset
• Finance and Accounting background
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management Science or some related field of study preferred
• Significant experience in business
