Trinity United Methodist Church is a church in downtown Raleigh in the Oakwood neighborhood that is in the process of being relaunched as a new church plant. Over the next few months the church will be reorganized in order to impact this dynamic neighborhood. The vision for Trinity will be focused on creating a dynamic multi-cultural community that is missionally focused on engaging lives across ethnicity, socio-economics and church experience in order to bear witness to God’s Kingdom of justice and grace.
This position is a hybrid position that combines the skills and responsibilities of office management, staff support, communications and church wide ministry coordination.
The ideal candidate will have experience and interpersonal skills to seamlessly work across these various roles, who can work both independently and in a group setting, who is willing to seek out new solutions to old challenges, who is intentionally learning new technology, is comfortable being the point person for various ministries and who constantly strives towards excellence and grace. The job will be centered on, but not limited to, these four tasks:
Staff Support (give direct support to Senior Pastor)
Communications (internally, externally, social media, website, podcasts, etc)
Ministry Coordination (work with ministry and program leaders)
