Status: Part-time. Hourly.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. (24 hours per week for 50 weeks)
Benefits: Two Weeks Paid Annual Leave (Church Office is closed when Conference Office is closed for major holidays)
Salary: Depends on experience.
Position Summary:
maintain congregational information and data entry using the church management software (ServantKeeper training provided)
maintain online giving system and annual PCI Compliance Attestation (VANCO training provided)
create and manage reports required by the NC Conference of The United Methodist Church
manage phones, building entry (electronic doorbell system), data entry, church scheduling and calendar, simple website updates, bulletins, church emails, supply orders, record-keeping, etc.
assign budget codes to all church expenses and obtain appropriate approvals/signatures necessary for payment processing
work closely with members, volunteers and other staff in a professional and positive manner
maintain church calendar and create and distribute various printed and web resources designed to inform the congregation of events of the church and to allow for outreach opportunities
reports to the Staff Parish Relations Committee
receives spiritual guidance and general daily administrative supervision from the senior pastor
knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel is necessary
