We are looking for an administrator to join our ministry team! The role of the
Administrative Assistant is to be responsible for managing the daily operations of
the church. The church Administrator coordinates staff and volunteers, works with the
community, and supports the pastor and other church staff members. Some of the Daily Tasks:
-Managing daily operations and maintaining office supplies.
-Assisting with coordinating, planning, and executing church events/managing the Church calendar
-Assisting to pay bills, oversee payrolls, and track and record church income from donations and sales.
-Assisting with coordinating volunteers for Church functions
-Handling church communications and publications, such as creating and the weekly e-mail and newsletters.
-Assisting with scheduling meetings, renting church equipment and facilities.
-Answer Church phone and e-mail, passing along information to other staff as needed
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong computer skills and the ability to operate office equipment
-Strong organizational skills
-A commitment to a welcoming, inclusive, affirming space
-The desire to be a part of a dynamic staff and community
Work will be 25 hours a week with possibility of future growth and a starting salary of 25,000/year. Hours are preferred from 9-2 on week days with some flexibility/negotiation.
