Approaching its 125th anniversary, Bethany UMC, Durham NC wants to share the zeal and excitement of changing the world by building a missional partnership in the community and by learning, loving and living as Jesus teaches us to do.
Bethany UMC seeks a committed Christian with knowledge and experience with the United Methodist Church to direct our youth ministry. We are seeking a partner in ministry with a love for the United Methodist Church and her traditions and one who shares Bethany’s mission goal: “To learn to love as Jesus loves and sharing our faith with others.”
The Youth Group is a small ethnically diverse group of young people who meet weekly to prepare and share a meal, to discuss the weekly lectionary texts and to engage in faith sharing. This is a ten hour a week position and a complete job description can be obtained by emailing julia523@nccumc.org
