Director of Youth and Adult Ministries

Leaksville UMC of Eden, NC is seeking a Director of Youth and Adult Ministries. The Director is called to build disciples for Christ by developing and implementing a comprehensive approach to children’s and youth ministry while serving as a spiritual leader and role model. In addition the Director is to plan and facilitate meetings and trips with adults that enhance their lives and deepen their faith. The Director will continue to deepen an ecumenical relationship with the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. The Director will work with the Leaksville Child Development Preschool Center in offering weekly chapel services as well as be a liaison between the CDC and church by serving on the CDC Board. The employee shall be able to articulate a call to Christian ministry and commitment to encourage lay leadership to embrace their own call to Christ’s Church in ways that inform and strengthen Leaksville UMC as an intergenerational community of faith.
